As of January 1, 2024, the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA) became effective which has introduced new reporting requirements, and community associations need to be prepared! Do you know about the Corporate Transparency Act (CTA)? The CTA, enacted in 2021, has introduced new reporting requirements, forcing many community association officers and directors to register with the Department of Treasury’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network. Join in to learn who must register, whether certain associations are exempt from compliance, and the information that must be provided. Presenters also will discuss the consequences for those who fail to or refuse to register.
